In April 2026 the Rolex Submariner overtook the Datejust as the most-traded Rolex reference family at BQ Watches - the first time the Datejust has been displaced from the top rank since the index series began. All-Rolex median days-to-sell fell to 35 days, a series low and the fourth consecutive month of acceleration. In-person contact rebounded to approximately 35%, the highest reading in the series.
The inaugural quarterly edition of the BQ Watches Pre-Owned Market Index pools January, February and March 2026 transactional data. Pre-owned Rolex turnover ran at approximately half its prior-year pace (median 46 days vs 105). The debut BQ Watches Transaction Price Index shows the Rolex Datejust at 123 and the Daytona at 74, against a Q1 2024 = 100 baseline.
In March 2026, BQ Watches recorded its first ChatGPT-attributed customer transaction - the entry of generative AI search into the UK pre-owned watch acquisition mix. Pre-owned Rolex turnover accelerated for a third consecutive month (46 days vs 93 a year ago), and approximately 30% of sales involved consignment-route stock - the first edition publishing this new dimension.
Pre-owned Rolex turnover at BQ Watches accelerated for a second month in February 2026: median days-to-sell fell to 41 (from 117 a year earlier, and below January's 50). The GMT-Master led the pace at 33 days, telephone narrowly retook the contact-channel lead from bqwatches.com, and the Rolex Sea-Dweller entered the most-traded reference families list at threshold for the first time.
