In March 2026, just weeks before the annual Watches & Wonders event in April, leaked images circulating on Reddit appeared to show three new potential additions to the Rolex lineup.
While there has been no official confirmation, and likely won’t be until the event in Geneva next month, the original post was quickly removed, adding fuel to speculation that these designs could be genuine.
As is often the case with early leaks, opinions are mixed - none of the models have been universally well received so far, but that hasn’t stopped the watch community from dissecting every detail!
This early look simply acknowledges what’s circulating; more detailed predictions and analysis will follow closer to the official release.
While none of the following pieces have been confirmed by Rolex, the leaked imagery has been widely circulated and discussed across forums and social platforms. As always with early leaks, details may change - or prove inaccurate entirely - but these are the three models currently at the centre of speculation.
The most talked-about piece is a so-called “Albino” Daytona, featuring an almost entirely monochromatic white or silver-toned dial. The design appears to strip back the contrast typically seen on Daytona models, particularly when compared to the iconic Panda configuration.
Initial reaction has been mixed - some appreciate the clean, minimal aesthetic, while others feel it lacks the visual punch that has made the Panda Daytona one of the most desirable modern Rolex sports watches.
There is already speculation that this could signal the end of the Panda Daytona’s current production run, although this remains unconfirmed.
Another rumoured release is a new Day-Date model celebrating 70 years since the first model released in 1956 – the model pictured features what’s being referred to as a “Jade” dial, likely a green stone or stone-inspired finish.
Rolex has always had an affinity for green in on it’s anniversary models and has leaned heavily into green dials in recent years – most notably with the “John Mayer” Green Daytona and the Olive Dial Day-Date which, now in it’s tenth year of production, may be headed for a discontinuation, possibly to make way for these new models.
Early sentiment suggests this release hasn’t generated the same excitement as previous green dial variations, but, with the popularity of vintage stone dials such as the ‘Lapis Lazuli’, we wouldn’t be surprised to see more than one colour being added to the lineup
The third “leak” is an updated version of the now discontinued Yacht-Master II. Details remain limited, but subtle refinements to the dial and case are expected rather than a complete redesign.
Produced for 17 years from 2007 until April 2024, The Yacht-Master II has always been one of the more divisive models in the Rolex lineup, and initial feedback suggests this update hasn’t dramatically shifted that perception.
There is also online speculation that this could replace or reposition the titanium Yacht-Master RLX, though again, nothing has been confirmed.
Across forums and social platforms, the overall response has been cautious rather than enthusiastic. While leaks always carry a degree of uncertainty, the designs - if accurate - haven’t yet captured the same level of excitement seen with previous releases.
That said, early reactions can be misleading. Many Rolex models that were initially criticised have gone on to become highly sought-after once seen in person.
Beyond potential releases, 2026 is a significant year for Rolex, marking several key milestones:
100 years of the Rolex Oyster case (1926)
70 years of the Rolex Milgauss (1956)
70 years of the Rolex Day-Date (1956)
These anniversaries could play a role in shaping upcoming releases, making this year’s Watches & Wonders event particularly important.
At this stage, everything remains speculative. The rapid removal of the original leak adds intrigue, but without official confirmation, these watches should be viewed as rumours rather than confirmed releases.
As April approaches, a clearer picture will emerge. A full predictions and expectations piece will follow closer to Watches & Wonders, once more information becomes available.
For now, these leaks offer an early glimpse into what could be a significant year for Rolex.
If you're considering adding a new piece to your collection, exploring a valuation, buying, selling, or part-exchange can help you make the right move ahead of any major releases.
