Crafted to celebrate one of aviation’s most remarkable journeys, this Breitling Navitimer DC-3 Limited Edition (Model AB0129, BQ Ref 53344) is number 290 of just 500 pieces produced worldwide.
Released in 2017, the DC-3 Limited Edition commemorates the Breitling DC-3 World Tour, an ambitious seven-month journey covering approximately 24,500 nautical miles in a restored 1940 Douglas DC-3. Piloted by Francisco Agullo, the historic aircraft travelled through Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America, participating in events and air shows along the way.
Adding exceptional provenance to this limited edition, all 500 watches accompanied the aircraft on board throughout its round-the-world journey.
The watch features an imposing 46mm stainless steel case housing the Navitimer’s distinctive black chronograph dial, protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Powered by an automatic movement and paired with a leather strap and pin buckle, it combines Breitling’s unmistakable aviation heritage with a refined yet sporting presence on the wrist.
The caseback is specially engraved with the Breitling DC-3 World Tour emblem and the watch’s individual limited-edition number of 290/500.
