The Rolex Day Date 118238 was launched in the year 2000 as part of Rolex's overhauled Day Date collection. The mechanism operates at the 4 Hertz which is equal to 28,800 beats per hour and guarantees approximately two days reserve in the structure. Lastly, this watch is protected by a Twinlock crown which moves down into place thus providing water resistance of 100m (330ft), combining the sophistication of a gold watch and the reliability of the Oyster case style.
