The Rolex Submariners with the reference number 114060 were in production from 2012 to 2020. They were replaced in in 2020 by the Submariner with reference number 124060.

Defining Features:

There are several notable features that define this era of the Submariner. For one, the Rolex 114060 Submariner would include a black ceramic bezel and platinum inserts. Also, the dial and hands would include Rolex’s signature Chromalight, which glows a luminous blue in sunlight. The stainless steel Oyster case houses a calibre 3130 movement. The case is 40mm and is known as the MAXI case. This is a good size for a diving watch, without being overly large for casual everyday wear.

Of course, being a Rolex Submariner, it also has features made specifically for diving that come standard with most Submariner models. The Rolex Submariner 114060 can withstand depths of up to 300 metres. It also has a unidirectional rotating bezel for timing.
