Defining Features
Unlike the traditional black dial Moonwatch configuration, this reference centres its design around a silvery opaline dial accented by deep blue details. The subdials adopt the same blue tone, creating a striking contrast that immediately distinguishes the watch from standard Speedmaster models.
Surrounding the dial is a polished blue ceramic bezel fitted with a white Super LumiNova tachymeter scale. The luminous tachymeter markings enhance visibility while adding a modern interpretation of a classic Speedmaster feature.
Rhodium plated Alpha hands provide another visual link to the early CK 2998 watches that inspired this edition. The central chronograph seconds hand adopts a lollipop design, while the hour markers and hands are treated with Super LumiNova to improve legibility in low light conditions.
The 39.7mm stainless steel case is paired with a blue leather strap featuring beige stitching, giving the watch a more vintage inspired appearance than many bracelet equipped Speedmasters. Beneath the caseback, Omega's manual winding Calibre 1861 powers the chronograph functions.
