Once you’ve determined your measurements, you’ll need to decide what size of watch you think looks best on your wrist. In order to properly size your watch, you’ll need to determine your wrist measurements. If you have a tape measure handy, now would be a good time to take a moment and find out your ideal measurement. Watch sizing is generally determined by the circumference of your wrist.
Most women’s wrists tend to end up somewhere in the 12- to 18-centimeter range. Once you have your specific wrist measurements determined, there are some other factors that you’ll need to consider.
Measurements are one important watch factor to consider, but it’s far from the only consideration when choosing a luxury watch. You’ll also want to think about case size, case thickness, and the width of your strap or bracelet. While these factors aren’t as important as your wrist measurement, they do make a difference in the way the watch looks and feels when you’re wearing it. Let’s take a look at some of these factors.

Generally, your watch should sit comfortably on your wrist without the case extending past it. The last thing you want is for your watch to be uncomfortable when you’re wearing it. You never want to sacrifice style for comfort when it comes to luxury watches. Especially if you’re planning on using it as an everyday accessory. This leads us to our last point, the materials of your strap and case.
Finally, we have the case and strap materials. Luxury watch cases are usually stainless steel, gold, or platinum. The metal you choose will affect the overall weight of your watch, so keep this in mind when making your decision. Likewise, the materials used in the strap or bracelet will also make a difference. You usually have the same metals used in bracelets, but bracelets can also come in leather or other unique materials. A metal bracelet is inevitably going to be heavier and has a different feeling than a bracelet made out of leather.
Ultimately, this will come down to personal preference. Most luxury watch bracelets will be comfortable regardless, but some people prefer the feeling and weight of metal while others like the look and feel of leather and other non-metallic materials.
